Convert 2014 or 2013 left handlebar switch assembly
Well that is what I thought so after I got it apart and discovered the ring, the job grew to removing the bar end weight, the grip, and the ring. So I did not do it in the order as listed. But the listed order is proper if I had known about the ring.
It is a fifteen minute job if fast and efficient, or less if I was racing for money. But 30 minutes if you work like me taking my time to enjoy wrenching on a great machine. Wrenching and riding are my me time and way to get removed from work and family responsibilities.

Well I thought it would be the old clam shell just like all the Hondas I've worked on (limited to maybe 10 models over 40 plus years), but Noooo. When I saw the ring after opening it up, I thought darn this simple job just grew, but still darn simple and easy. Now the other side I've got to read the shop manual about the throttle cables. I will probably wait for cooler weather.

I think he was referring to the Superbrace video that shows how to install a Superbrace. But, the video wasn't 'really' to show you how, it was "for entertainment purposes only"
