A $1,500 Helmet...Now THAT is "Shameless"
For that price the helmet should be able to turn the bike based on your head and eye position

RE: A $1,500 Helmet...Now THAT is "Shameless"
It's not a bad price, but here's my issue with it.
Tech companies don't necessarily specialize in helmets, and helmet companies (I hope) should be more focused on safety than electronic tech. This tech-integrated helmet is a neat concept, but I'm going to feel much safer with my Shoei helmet, and I'm adding a HUD when the Nuviz comes out. The add-on HUD is $499, so that plus the RF-1100 is still only 66% of the price of the combo helmet. EDIT: I forgot to factor in my bluetooth audio. so $500 for the Shoei, $500 for the HUD, and $200 for the Scala Rider Q3 is near the $1500 mark. Having it integrated and designed as one will certainly be a nicer-looking end result, but I want my head wrapped in Shoei. If Snell approves it, I'll consider it (once the RF-1100 is aged out).
