Wow, tough crowd! Well I was gone for nearly two weeks; the rack bag had my mesh jacket and pants in it, the tank bag had tools, tire plug kit and electric air pump, water, snacks etc. Panniers had clothes etc. Okay, there was a small pillow and some books in there too. Plus it's always a good idea to pack in such a way that you have enough room to stock up on adult beverages for the evening...
I only camp if forced to at gunpoint.

They really are a pretty unique ride, but yeah, she is a big girl, no doubt. At 5'10" I can manage it, but have to have the seat in the low position. Even then I'm looking down on you if your pickup is 2 wheel drive!
It's my travelling bike, which will mean the CB1100 is limited to local and in-state jaunts, which I'm okay with as I don't intend to rack up huge miles on the CB. I can't help it, but I'm already treating the CB somewhat like a collector bike. Would rather use up the Tenere for the big miles.
