Rear Carrier & Bag Guards ?
Has anyone tried putting on both a rear carrier and saddlebag guards ? They look like they both use the same mounting points, just longer bolts to accommodate both ?

RE: Rear Carrier & Bag Guards ?
I'm picking my rear carrier and saddlebag guards up today. More to follow.
I do know that I must relocate my rear signal lights to make room my Nelson Riggs bags.
Darn autocorrect. I was at work when I wrote that and apparently did not review it properly.

Tobacco Mate must be an Aussie thing, we should ask Cormanus

RE: Rear Carrier & Bag Guards ?
There was a time Down Under when people went crazy for devices that were called XXXX-mate. For example, I still have a Barbie-mate which is a cunning spatula for use on barbecues. It's a multi-purpose tool. It's got a sharp edge for cutting those little bits of gut that hold sausages together and prongs for pricking sausages. It's got a bottle opener for the chef's beer and a good-solid edge for scraping the barbecue clean. Here's one.
But I've never heard of a Tobacco Mate. It could, I suppose, be code for a cigarette paper or a pipe or some other device to help you ingest nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide and all those other jolly things that come with having a puff. Perhaps its a lighter or a box of matches. Or it could be the trolley on which you carry the oxygen cylinder after a lifetime of smoking. In any event, I might have to invent one now you've given me the idea.

RE: Rear Carrier & Bag Guards ?
I have begun modifying my 2013 CB. I removed the right rear bar and loosened the fender in anticipation of relocating the signal lights. I have a universal saddlebag guard and a Honda luggage rack . It appears that the rear bar must be removed which means the rear signal lights must go. The view is from the top and from the front. The left rear fender area is intact, the right has been replaced with the bag guard. My first photo attempt. On the left side of the photo, the right side of the bike you can see the black spacers in between the rack and the bike.
I need to figure out how to make the photos smaller. Here is the saddlebag guard and the Luggage rack loosely attached. The is the right rear side. As you can see, there is no obvious location for the rear signal light as the luggage rack and saddle bag frame take up the space.

It's been done before, Geosar. Check out this thread and maybe have a bit of a search of the forum as others have done it.

Rear Carrier & Bag Guards ?
Here is a top view of both the Willie and Max universal saddlebag guard and the Honda brand luggage rack. There is no room for the rear rails or blinkers.
