2014 Black Standard CB1100 w/ Road Comet 1
Thought I'd upload a few pictures of my newly installed Road Comet 1 for anyone on the fence about getting one.

My K&H High seat just shipped out Friday and will probably be here the middle of next week. Much thanks to Takashi for the procurement and quick shipment of my farkles. Smile

I think I'm going to end up switching back to the stock mirrors. I like how sporty the new ones look, but I think I prefer the more old school style of the round ones.

Bikemaster American's. I was very impressed with the quality; they don't budge at all when positioned and worked well even at higher speeds (80MPH).

Looks good JPX. I know others don't agree, but I really like the look of the OEM lollipop mirrors. And they work well for me.

That looks really good, JPX. It really sets off the black theme of the bike.

Personally, I like the look of those American mirrors. The last farkle I've been been thinking about adding are mirrors. I think the stock lollipops are a bit tall. I was contemplating the CB500F mirrors, but I think these look even better. Thanks for the link!

Chip Beck License Plate Bracket Mod:

İmage

I ended up buying one of these instead of fabricating my own bracket and drilling two holes through it that lined up with the fender holes. It's 0.2 inches thick and extremely sturdy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0031BH...UTF8&psc=1

K&H High Seat 'B' Version 2 (Tuck Roll and Tandem Strap):

http://www.kandh.co.jp/shop/shop/detail....=S-1102BT2

İmage

It added about an inch of seat height over the stock one. I probably preferred the height of the original since it allowed me to flat foot the bike, but it's not a big deal since I have a 30 1/2" inseam and can still get both feet down. I like how the high seat doesn't make the center of the bike dip down as much as the mid or low ones.

Lollipop mirrors back on + new K&H seat.

That looks outstanding, JPX. I think the Road Comet works great with the black standard. Kind of reminds me of one of the CB700S models from the mid-80s in profile; very good looking.
