"Mom", I just want you to know that I'm so touched that you took the time to let us know how, not just how Eric felt about
this small community, but how you were somehow touched by the camaraderie that we all share here.
Eric was one cool member; we all looked forward to his posts and his enthusiasm for this small-niched motorcycle was infectious.
My heart-felt condolences go out to you and everyone Eric knew on a personal basis.
Again, God Bless you for taking the time to share your words and feelings with us.
When in doubt, GAS IT!!!!

Dear Anne
I can't imagine what it must be like to lose a child. I think, as the Ferret said, no-one should have to go through it. I add my voice to those of my colleagues in offering every sympathy to you and your husband on this terrible occasion.
The Eric Armes we knew was a great bloke (as we say in Australia). I was looking forward to meeting him in May. He'll be greatly missed.
I'm pleased if our words and thoughts have provided some comfort and thank you so much for taking the trouble to contact us.
Best wishes to you, your husband and your family.
George

Yes, Mrs. Ames, Thank you for taking the time in this time of tragedy
for your family to let us know that we could be of some comfort.
Then to me, this is how it is, not even a question. When a family
loses a member, Brother or Sister, you do what one can. When one
member of the family, pack, tribe is lost there will for ever be a
space that they filled that is sadly empty.
Please take care in you and your families struggle to continue on
with this loss. Know that you and your family will be in our thoughts
and spiritual practices.
Bless,
Dave
