Rider Magazine Long-Term Ride CB1100DLX
I hope this hasn't been posted before. I haven't read the article yet, myself, but it popped up on my newsfeed today.

Rider Magazine Long-Term Ride CB1100DLX
Thanks, MTC. A brief but pleasant read.

Wow, only 557 pounds (15 more than the std..even with ABS) and it's got 3 more horsepower than the 2013 standard and according to the article, a more balanced look.
I feel so vindicated

3 or 4 hp sounds about right for the freer flowing exhaust. I would assume a single slip on should net similar results.
I'm a little off in the head, so I prefer imbalance.

RE: Rider Magazine Long-Term Ride CB1100DLX
nice article.
maybe it's just me, but I cringe seeing that tank bag on there. I can't help but think of the long term damage to finish on the paint (but of course, it's not their bike and it's not REALLY long term for them). I'd never have one of those 'direct on the tank' tank bags after a bad experience with one on another motorcycle (despite being so careful about it)..

Furious,
I think Mick has his tank covered with clear bra to protect the paint as he uses a tank bag as well. Sounds like the way to go for tank bag users. I wouldn't put one on bare paint either.
