This is the best bike forum around I think. At first I was a bit put off by the strict adherence to motorcycle related material. I still believe that one section devoted to miscellaneous musings would be okay but then, how can one argue with success. The very competent moderation of the forum is refreshing, keeping religion, politics and the such out. There are plenty of forums around for those who wish to talk of such things, glad they're not allowed here.

Congrats to Guth for initiating this fine venue, to Ferret for a fine job as moderator and to all the members that make this spot a joy to visit.

I picked up my CB last June and found this forum shortly after that. I check it frequently. It is one of the best forums around no doubt. Thank you to all of the forum members who have shared their experiences and made this such a great place to visit!

Thank you Guth and Ferrlet (see what I did there?) for creating and maintaining this wonderful resource. I think I joined sometime in June, 2013 just after my purchase and just prior to the delivery of my CB1100.

14,500 miles later, I have made four modifications to the bike, received countless tips on riding, made numerous new friends (some on the other side of the planet), met and rode with 3 of those friends, including twice having had the great pleasure of exploring roads in Ohio and Kentucky with Mickey (The Ferret) as my tour guide. All of this made possible by this forum.

Thank you to all who have contributed to this forum and thus to my enthusiasm for this motorcycle and for motorcycling in general.

Gentlemen,

I've been here since this site was 4 weeks old and have found this Forum to be an island of sanity (for the most part) and civility in a sea of madness. The CB1100 is an escape for me. Everything makes sense, good changes work, unsuccessful mods can be reversed, and with the collective knowledge shared here I can look at and review more mods and tips than I could in 100 lifetimes of personal experience. I really enjoy learning from the experience of other owners and I've tried to return that favor by posting up some "how to" stuff as well.

Mickey was both an obvious and inspired choice as moderator, and Guth is always a gentleman (even when he needed to admonish me!!). This is just a great place. Thank you and here is a toast (I do drink) to many more years.

yep, good forum to hang out, I've been involved with quite a few others, depending on my hobby, have drifted away from most because I can find them stressful, this forum is usually not so stop by quite often. Keep up the good work and thanks!
