Got it. So, you still have circulating coolant, a pump and radiator, just on a smaller scale. Thanks, guys!

RE: MotorcycleUSA article
The path I started was to buy a 70's CB750, 550 or 550 but found the CB1100 and so happy I bought it instead of living with a classic bike.

MotorcycleUSA article
Chip,
If it takes more energy to heat water than any other substance but one, does it take a corresponding amount of energy to cool it, or is it remarkable in not retaining heat?

From Wiki: The British thermal unit (BTU or Btu) is a traditional unit of energy equal to about 1055 joules. It is the amount of energy needed to cool or heat one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit (Physical analogue; one four inch, wooden kitchen match consumed completely generates 1 BTU). In science, the joule, the SI unit of energy, has largely replaced the BTU.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

I was unable to ride/operate the 60's version Triumphs with their right side shifter and left side rear brake pad/lever. By then I was too ingrained with the UJM foot controls...
