RE: Got my CB1100 Yesterday!
Congrats! Looking good. During my break-in period, I just varied the speed, shifted through the gears a bit, and kept her at or below 4K RPM. You'd be amazed how much fun you can have on this bike at or below 4K RPM. Now that I'm well passed the break-in, I'll take her up to around 7K RPM on occasion (mostly merging onto the freeway or spirited passing of cars) but find most of my riding is right around 3 to 3.5K. Just feels right with this engine.

I looked at the Shark Raw and like the styling a lot. Very fighter pilot-esque. Oh, and black is the new black. You did well.

Great Jackets! If you get a chance to get to the Tampa area visit Euro Cycle, they had my jacket on clearance for $100. Smile

Thanks, I think I've had it at about 4500 RPMs max and tend to cruise about 3.5K like yourself.

Yep, they have a pretty good sized clearance rack with quite a bit on them.

They are closed tomorrow, I'll have to wait.

Congrats, love the black - great looking bike goes well with your ensemble Wink
I live in Winter Park, a couple hours east of you. My buds and I ride to Pancho Villas Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio (yes, Florida for the rest of you) on an occasional Sunday ride. Google it and see if its somewhere you'd be interested in meeting up with us to do some riding. Lots of great roads in the area. Also, Pecks, at the end of the Ozello trail. Or Shamrocks in Floral City. On and on Wink

Actually been there several time! Good food, not a bad little ride so, maybe I'll talk to the wife and see if she wants to ride there next Sunday.
