RE: Anyone ride a scooter too?
Gentlemen,
I heard a comedian once say, "Scooters are like fat chicks. No matter how much fun they are you still don't want your friends to see you on one!"

I have wanted a Vespa for years but I don't want to be seen on one that is for sure. Though in Europe nobody would think twice about me riding one to work! I love Europe for that.

Any idea what size engine it has?
If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

According to this article, the engine and DCT transmission come from the NC750.
Riko, are you aware of the Honda Integra scooter? It looks more motorcycle-like but has the foot-leg placement of a scooter. It's supposedly on the market in Europe and is also based on the NC750.

RE: Anyone ride a scooter too?
I know it. Never interested me the idea of a scooter with a chain.
Years ago Honda made a prototype maxi scooter wich was very impressive.
Single sided swingarm. Shaft driven. Powerfull. Etc.
Will try to find out tomorrow what it was called

Now that is a cool scooter. I hope it is available when I need one for my old age.

Chip
as an ex scooter driver, I can only concur, even though I really liked my old Burgman 650.
I must say, If I had to choice a scooter, it would be a T-max, it looks good, said to handle like a motorcycle (has the same lay out, engine in the frame not on the swingarm) and...that exhaust sound is really awesome even for motorcycle standards.
Especially with the optional akrapovic pipe, it sound very brutal
