RE: Phoenix area
Owned my first two motorcycles in Phoenix while going to college there around '69. Loved riding at night in the warm air. The occasional dust storm was a bit rough but loved the heat on the calm days.

RE: Phoenix area
I'd be happy to go for a group ride. I'm out in AJ and just moved here recently. I'm trying to sell my bike for a house so if you guys go on a ride before then let me know. I'd be super excited to join.

If the weather is not too warm, I'm looking at doing Yarnell Hill after breakfast. Maybe I'll see a few of you tomorrow.

RE: Phoenix area
too warm? I wish. Been the the high 30's low 40's in the mornings here the last 2 weeks. We are supposed to see a high near 70 today, but not till 4 pm (and only for an hour then lol). I've been wearing heated jacket liner and using heated grips lol

Near record temps in Denver yesterday (high 70's) but it's been colder in the mountains and the mornings have been chilly (40's). Ski season opened this past Friday at Arapahoe Basin, about an hour from my house. Winter is coming!

RE: Phoenix area
It got a bit chilly once 93 hit the river bottom, hit Anita's at 7:30. Had a great breakfast, got back on the road about an hour later and it was pretty pleasant on the way home. Saw a lot of bike heading TO Wickenburg but most will be a bit too warm on the way home.

It was only 75 when I got home so we got a mile walk in with the dog before it got too hot (expect to hit 95-97 for a high).
