The July issue of the UK Classic Motorcycle Mechanics had a 7 page article about the CB1100 and the history of this bike.A positive test with a 56 mpg fuel consumption.Keep in mind that the US gallon is close to 3.8 litres but the Imperial gallon is close to 4.5 litres.There for when you see mpg you always have to ask which gallon they use.The one mistake in the article I saw was that they mentioned a 630 chain instaed of the 530.The first Honda CBX,s in 1979 had a 630 chain,the later ones a 530.
