Good riding in the Amish countryside, lots of farms, rolling hills and twisties.

Lancaster is great especially this time of year, what brings you to this area?
Actually there is a Can-Am dealer right in front of Guhl Motors in Ephrata...so you could get your CB ECU flashed while perusing new Can -Ams

We are on our way home to the Cape from Knoxville and this was the half way point. After all the rain last week we just had to stop somewhere worth riding around. Gorgeous day today, beautiful countryside !

Wow! Lancaster County is where I grew up before I wound up in Chicago! The intersection in your pic above is the middle of Quarryville, just a few miles southeast of where I did most of my first Sunday drives "out in the county" as a cager when I was 16! Mighty small world!

You are so right... Lancaster County has lovely rolling hills for riding. You really do have to be on the watch for the horse-drawn buggies as you come up over small rises lest you plow into the back of one whilst going too fast! Thanks for the unexpected treat!

Pterodactyl,

There are several other towns in Lancaster County that draw one's attention, named (and I kid you not): Bird-in-hand, Blue Ball, and Paradise, along with the town Intercourse. The joke often told was the following: "Here's how you get to Paradise: first drive to Bird-in-hand, then to Blue Ball, which in due course leads to Intercourse, all on the way to Paradise."

And people say those Amish have no sense of humor...!
