New member from Slovenia, EU
Hello to all forum members.

My name is Bostjan and I am from Slovenia, EU. I have been browsing, reading the CB1100 forum for months. Today I finally registered.

I own CB 1100 EX. Ordered it in December 2014 at the official Honda dealer in Slovenia, waited for 6 months, to receive my precious bike from factory in Japan, and have taken it home at the beginning of May 2015. In Slovenia you can still order CB 1100 EX, no problem, but they have none in stock, so you have to wait for it to be made in Japan.

Until now I have 3500 km, including beautifull kilometers on the Croatian coastline and in the Slovenian and Austrian Alps.

To say it mildly I adore this bike.

All the best to all

Hi Bostjan:

You may or may not have see the picture recently posted by a new member from Croatia but that picture was of the place where he lives. It looked rather interesting. So what are the chances we can get a picture or two of the area around where you live?

At any rate it is good to have someone from Slovenia.

Thank you for you nice words and welcome.
I live in the southeastern part of Slovenia, south of the city Novo mesto, next to the border with Croatia. 1,5 h drive from the Alps and 1,5h drive from the Adriatic sea.
I am attaching some pictures from the nearby area where I live or rather links:

Hello Bosti, and welcome!

Your town looks beautiful - I have not been there yet, but many times in your beautiful country already. I'm from just over the border, Hungary. I took a 10-day ride across the Alps this summer (on my CB500, as I'm still waiting to pick up my 1100), and went through Slovenia. I was camping and stayed a night at the lake in Bled. Here's picture I took in Slovenia, entering the mountains:

Great pic Alphonsus. That is a CB500X? Is it a good bike?
