That is a great video Paul. Some interesting bikes. I saw a couple of nice CB750s. And was that a black CB1100 entering from the right? Two burnouts and a female biker with a nice rear end (No, no, no Darling! The rear of the bike not the rider).
Paul, is this proposal to ban motorbikes from the city, or both motorbikes and cars? I would have thought motorcycles in the city would be encouraged. It cuts down on the number of cars.
Cheers

Pterodactyl, the idea is to ban both motorbikes and cars progressively but motorbikes even faster. As you can see we are a lot to think like you: it's a dumb idea. During the protest they showed a banned 125cc (4.5 litters/100km) on one side and a massif diesel 4x4 (17l/km) authorized on the other side just to explain how stupid this law is. Hope this law won't be voted!

DLX entering from the right at 0:51. But I'm bloody near senile so it could be a Hummer.
Cheers mate
And Paul, I would say more but not for this forum.
And Cormanus, they (yes the dreaded "they") want to ban motorbikes faster (as a priority?).
Cheers again.

No I don't suggest to ban the cars more rapidly. I just think that if the goal is to ease the traffic in cities and reduce the pollution it's completely idiot to ban motorcycle more rapidly than diesel vehicles and cars.
But, to me the problem of pollution is not even there. 80% of the pollution comes from domestic hit and industry. I would start there...

Yes, well spotted. I met this guy in the DGR in Paris this year. We met again for this event.

G'day Paul
My wife and I have only been to Paris once and that was for less than a week, caught the train from London and only used public transport to get around. I have no idea what it is like to get about in your own vehicle in Paris one thing we did notice that when we were in Amsterdam we did not notice many cars in the inner city that may not be the norm but maybe the absence of vast car parks keeps the cars out.
Here where I live traffic congestion is only evident on the 26th of December when the masses head down the coast for the summer holiday, when I rode to Licola yesterday 180 km - 110 mile not one traffic light only one stop sign but did slow for couple of dozen give way signs. Of note did not hear a single vehicle sound its horn!
Regards

I got that the wrong way around. Duh! Like you, I think it's madness banning bikes more quickly than other, larger vehicles.
