It's looking that way Ferret. Already making a mental note of your "things to bring" thread that lays out gear needed for full on adventures.

I'm guessing that Ferret's "things to bring" list doesn't include a stainless steel growler for transporting adult beverages from point of purchase to point of safe consumption. However, it is HIGHLY likely that said item will be strapped on the back of my bike for this trip.

I'm always looking to improve current models. Stainless steel growler sounds like it should be making the list. Thanks Matt!

Look for a hydroflask growler... They are great... Keep beer cold for hours and fresh for days.... ask me how I know.... I will be bringing on right next to my collection of cigars (just came back from CigarFest)...
I have my kitchen pass starting on Tues... Don't know if I will leave Tues or Wed, yet.... Im hoping it will be nice for all those day so I can ride... If it the sky looks questionable, I might trailer down - just so I don't have to slug it home in the wet...

HHR: Those growlers look pretty snazzy, highly tempting. A bit high in price though: $60...know where you can get them any cheaper? And any notable breweries around the rally these growlers could get some use?

I have one (hydroflask growler)
I'll bring it to the rally if there are local places to fill it
I can stash cigars in it for the trip down ;-)
I'm a beta tester for jailbreak brewery, it's literally 3/4 mile from my house..
If the rally has questionable weather. I'd load the CB up on my kendon and bring it filled with beer and a selection. Tho I would much rather have good weather and ride down...

I'm suddenly not quite so worried about the weather, particularly that which is east of our destination.

Several breweries in area.
Floyd VA a very interesting place.
Creek Botom Brews in Galax has good selection on tap.
Davis Valley Winery also has a distillery that turns out some quality product. Last time I visited they were hoping to open a bourbon tasting room in the spring.

Bob, can we just get 64oz hydroflask growlers instead of the shirts? Maybe get the logo on there too if you can? Hope it's not too much trouble. One size fits all
