RE: CB1100 #1632 for sale in Atlanta GA
Well, I'm 66 and I would have gone for the CB500ABS if they had one to look at back in June. I still don't think they have one, or whenever they get one it's sold immediately. It's a lot of bike for the money. I wanted a bike with ABS and the choices in that category were narrow. I jumped for the CB11 when I saw it on the floor was the first I knew it existed. BTW, my OTD price was north of $12k.

The styling of the CTX700 is not to my liking, nor do I like the tank under the seat. All that plastic just does not ring my bell.

I'm now looking for a '37 Crocker. Old guys must drive old bikes in order to be taken seriously. Dale Walksler bought one on "What's in the barn" Awesome bike. Would take it without ABS. Big Grin

If you would put your head in a helmet it wouldn't be empty.

You can afford a Crocker?
You must of bought the CB with your pocket change!Big Grin

I do like "What's in the Barn" though. I also caught a show on Discovery about classic restoration in Philly, "Philly Throttle".

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, a total wreck, screaming Yahoo, with a big smile on your face."

I bought #1628 at Cycle Nation in Canton, GA on June 12th and I think it was the third and the last one they thought they would get in.
