RE: DFW
Thinking of meeting at the Rudy's in Denton off 35 at 8:30AM. I know a good run that heads up thru Denton towards Celina and back.

Anyone interested?

Weather is great in North Texas nowadays. Any local CB'ers up for a Ride and Eat? Maybe north of DFW?

RE: DFW
What day/time are you thinking? I'm in Little Elm and need to get a few miles on the new bike. A ride up to St. JO/Muenster is always fun. 377 to FM455 to FM677 into St. Jo and then 82 over to Muenster..that'll give you an idea of a route. Or continue on 677 to Illinois Bend/Indian Bridge, then backtrack a bit to 373 into Muenster.

The above is just an idea, I'm open to pretty much anything.

I'm not a real aggressive rider, don't necessarily follow speed limit, but I don't treat the bike like a crotch rocket either.

RE: DFW
I'll check out the route you suggested and get back with you. Sundays are usually the best day I can get away from everything and go riding.

I'll send you an IM with my phone and we can keep touch by text; if that's OK with you?

RE: DFW
I took the route suggested by AJ and created a starting point north of Ft Worth.
Here: Ft Worth to Red River

Return trip by backroads to I-35

Here: Red River to Valley View

Let me know what y'all think?

RE: DFW
Weather depending I think I can make Sunday work. I can meet anywhere along the route or if you want to do a different/new route I'm game. Bike only has 61 miles on it so it's time to get it out for its first real ride. Actually hoping I can get my chores done early tomorrow so I can get in a nice shakedown ride with the new fairing. I'd like to make sure it stays in place at speed before going for a longer ride.

RE: DFW
I'm cautiously interested. There's a 50% chance of thunderstorms around Denton on Sunday. The last two thunderstorms have dropped significant hail north of Fort Worth. If the forecast looks better by late Saturday, I'm interested in a Sunday ride.

The weather looks great at three airport today. But I'm only passing through.
