Rear Fender Elimination.
So I am serious thinking of ditching the rear fender. has anyone done this? I would love to hear thoughts? Also I am looking for a rear fender elimination kit complete with tail light and plate holder.

I was looking at this for a triumph and figured I could fabricate an adapter to fit the bike.

The inspiration for my bike has been the Mugen CB1100 that I saw on Bike Exif. Google those terms and you'll find some great pictures with what I think you are looking for for the rear fender. I wish I could post them. I think that custom bike is amazing. I wish the parts were readily available here in the US.

Just be sure to save the parts. 20 years from now, some poor bike restorer is going to be searching whatever passes for EBay in the future for a rear fender to complete his bike.

Kevin,

In your case, the flat black shortie fender with the small tail light used on that Mugan bike is available for sale via webike.net. The small aluminum turn signals Mugan used are listed as well. Cheers.

ordered an integrated taillight for the bike. ONce it comes in I will attempt this project.

Eliminate rear fender, turn signals and relocate license plate under the seat.

Silascopathic,

Are there any updates to the rear fender elimination? I'd really love to do the same thing and see how well it turned out. Thanks!
