New addition to the forum staff
Congratulations Cormanus! This place was already in good hands, so it can only get better now.

RE: New addition to the forum staff
Thank you all very much indeed for the very kind words. I hope to be able to do my bit to makes sure this forum continues to be the great place it is.
Today's good news is that, while Guth has, obligingly, stopped my name appearing in glorious and individual purple, he's not yet flipped all the other switches that allow me to do anything. I remain the work-experience moderator.
Nemo: I hope it turns out like that. It would be such fun.
Popgun: the bibliophile, what can I say? I think I'll unblock Bubba and leave it to him.

Uhhhh, Thanks Cormanus?
I liked the purple name. You should get it back.

Maybe Guth has done something clever like calibrate the colour of my username to my mood. When I get agitated and over exercised by carryings on here or Pterodactyl feeds me Bundy and winds me up, I'll turn purple again?

With the windfall from this new job you can probably afford that pack of gum you've had your eye on

I don't know about a whole pack of gum... Maybe a stick or two.
If Cormanus were to somehow belly up for an entire pack it would lead to some awkward moments around the CB1100 Forum Break Room should he decide to flaunt it...
The ferret: "Whoa! Hey Cormanus, is that a whole pack of gum you've got there?"
Cormanus: "Sure is, Guth is really making this gig worth my while!"
The ferret: "Well jeezalou, he's been promising me gum since day one, but I've yet to see so much as even a wrapper."
Cormanus: "There, there now buddy, Heck, I'll give you one of my wrappers if it will make you feel better."
The ferret: "That's it I'm having a talk with Guth."
Yeah, we really don't want to go down that route. Let's forget the gum.

HEY FERRET!! Guth's reneged on the promise of gum for us! He's even deleted the PM. Wanna call a union meeting?
