I have added nothing to my wiring or to the inside of the faring of any sort and the buzzing is not present.
All it takes is to position the wiring inside the bucket so that it doesn't vibrate on the housing.

I see today that the three color RC2 I ordered from Mr. T is currently going through US Customs in Chicago, IL. I hope that means I'll be receiving it here in Houston soon . . . .Cool

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that like some have reported here, I won't have any of the vibration problems inside or outside the headlight can. I guess I can do the black foam install if I need to. I'm hoping I don't have to spend an extra $50 for the RoninMO solution, very elegant IMHO, but I will if I have to . . . Dodgy

When you install it you have to replace the bucket screws so you might as well address the wires at that time to try and make sure they are not in a position inside the bucket to vibrate like that.

RandyB, good tip sir, thanks for suggesting it. Absolutely right - the time to ensure I won't have wire noise since I'll be in there already - I hadn't thought of that.

Looking forward to getting it on the bike. It is a gorgeous piece of kit!

Those "minor issues" have definitely stopped me from spending money on a RC fairing.

Please note that it has been reported with the puig windscreen as well. It's more related to how the headlight reacts with a windscreen attached to it than anything else.

Mine did it with the Puig. At idle no less. In one thread it was suggested that the buzzing was happening all the time (not on all bikes) it just couldn't be heard until a screen was mounted and directed or amplifed the sound or something. Or maybe amplified the vibration. I don't know. It just is not that big a deal to wrap the connectors with some thin foam and problem solved. Problem staying solved.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!
