Nearly new to me Cb1100
Well, After lurking on this forum for awhile, I came across a 2013 standard model with low miles in Scottsdale, Arizona. I live in Portland, Oregon. Not really a problem, so I took a road trip and drove the Cb all the way home! Four and a half days and 1500 miles later I arrived home. I had an opportunity to put the Cb through its paces riding and I am totally impressed with the comfort and performance of this motor. Fuel delivery was seamless and the engine responsive for my tastes! There was always plenty of power on tap. Just twist and go.Smile

Pretty crazy to do this trip solo, but Honda just makes reliable products! Of course I did a safety once over before hitting the road and re-checks along the way. A great "shake down" cruise home that put a grin on my face for many miles!

I have now officially joined the ranks! Russ

Welcome Cooldrum!

2 years ago I did a fly and ride for an ST1300. Wasn't quite as long a trip as yours, but still about 1200 miles or so. I went alone and loved every minute of it. Heck, I go everywhere alone Smile

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

Hello Howdy and welcome to the forum. Nice job getting it home. More fun I suppose than just having it shipped.
