Cascade loop ride and swimming in Lake Chelan
I am going on a group ride with WASMA (Washington State Motorcycle Association) next week, August 20th. The group is meeting in Bellevue at 8am. Departing at 9am. I will be joining the group as they pass through Monroe around 10am.

That could be fun. Is it something I'd need to be a member of to ride along?

No, the ride is open to anyone who can ride safely. That said, joining the group costs nothing either.

Neat! Lake Chelan is pretty amazing... some 55+ miles long, average of only 1/2 mile wide, and up to 1500 feet deep (3rd deepest lake in NA)! Oh, and BTW, it is glacier fed, so it's brrr C-O-L-D pretty much year round!

Wish I lived closer to that part of the country... it's gorgeous! Have been there three times in the past 17 years (to go to a nearby Lutheran retreat center known as Holden Village).
