Did Quarantine in Melbourne permit entry to the quayside on your return from Van Diemen's Land with your bike in a state lacking purity, Barnaby is preoccupied I've heard.

RE: Milestone Thread (Take 2)
Strangely enough, noroomtomove, the bikes were sparkly as we rode off the ferry. A brief trip though some hideous, greasy, gravelly roadworks just before we got to the ferry meant we invested in a wash. As it was damp in Melbourne, it wasn’t long before the bikes were dirty. By the time I got home, roadworks and a dirt track detour saw an end to cleanliness.

Milestone Thread (Take 2)
I always miss the milestones on my CB1100 because I always have the trip meter on the display. I'm coming up on 25K miles so I plan to catch that one by not using the trip meter as it approaches.

In the meantime, I caught this milestone on the CB750 this morning. I bought this bike in the crate in '96, and I'm proud to say that each one of those miles* are mine.

*Actually, there are a few hundred more miles than displayed as I had to replace the speedo drive gear a few weeks ago. İmage
