Yearly Goal met, and re-set
I set a goal every year to ride x amt of miles and then up it if/when the goal is met. This years goal was 20,000 miles and I met that on yesterday's ride with Empty Sea. 20,089 when I rolled into the garage last night to be exact. That's in 245 days of riding so an average of 82 miles every time I throw a leg over the seat.

New goal with 2 1/2 months to go in year 22,000

Toward that end, today,I rode 2 times . Rode the CB 35 curvy miles this morning solo, then wife and I took ST out to dinner and then the long way home for another 103 miles.

77 days to go 1773 miles to meet new goal Big Grin

Does anyone else set riding goals?

That's impressive.. The only down side I see is oil changes and tires. Do you buy in bulk?

My goal is to ride more on my CB1100 each year than Ferret does on both of his bikes.

Don't know if I'll make it...

I do buy oil filters in bulk since both bikes take the same filter.

Yes downside is tires for me. Durn things are expensive and don't last long enough lol.

Upside is lots of riding time which I love to do.

Haystack, been chasing you all year and finally snuck past so figure you havent been recording your mileage lately lol

Used oil in containers and a stack of worn tires is like looking at a pile of memories that you can't get anywhere else...priceless!

Truly impressive Mickey! My only riding goal is to get out on the CB at least once a week. Even in the colder months, but that always depends on moisture.

Internet..just type part number 15410-mfj-d01 into google and then search shopping and look for best deals. Usually buy 6 at a time and that lasts me for 1 season

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=15410-mfj-d01

Looks like Partzilla has them right now for $9.45 but I usually get them cheaper than that

http://motorcycleoilfiltersonline.com/ho...kn303.html
3 pk $24.95 or what $ 8.30 each?

Partzilla may match pricing?

don't forget to figure in shipping. if you buy enough some places have free shipping.
