RE: How To replace your Spark Plugs
i'm just curious, were all 4 of your plugs at .037 ?

anyone else find your gap that wide?

heck, even .033 is really wide.

jim...I don't recall if we measured all four or just the first one to come out. I may have them outside in my spares box, but since I have another new set there I doubt it. If I get some free time I will look.

Price hike 80+%, now showing $7.99 each. With the added $9.99 for shipping getting close to Amazon's Prime $.

Not a price hike, they were on sale. They have been sale a couple of times in the last 6 months.

RE: How To replace your Spark Plugs
thanks Ferrett. just think if they were all that wide or nearly that wide, maybe they were at the upper limit of the range to start with. that might explain why Honda recommend inspecting and changing so frequent. I like your idea better of gap them closer so they have room to wear. I'm guessing the big gap is looking for lower emissions? can't think of any other reason. big gaps are supposed to be clean burning, but they are also more likely to misfire, so kind of kooky to go so big I think.
