1052 miles in 21 hours. But it was a challenge. 2 border crossings, mostly two lane highways, speed limits in Canada are very conservative, all the darn rain, and I counted 27 deer in the last hour THAT puckers yer butt!

Congratulations, Ole. An impressive feat, to be sure. Take a minute to be proud of yourself...heck, take two minutes!
Hope to ride with you soon.
Congratulations again!

RE: Lake Superior SS1K
I just got my credit card bill for my scoot Iron Butt around Lake Superior.
It cost me exactly $46.11 for fuel.
What a bargain for so much fun!

LOL. I'll bet the CB1100 cost more than that!

RE: Lake Superior SS1K
My GPS moving average was 57 mph. When I stopped for gas, it was just gas. I had a cooler in my top case stocked with already purchased treats and bottled water. To maintain a 57 mph average one has to manage gas stops efficiently. I had 9 gas stops all were pay at the pump but one in Canada,,,,

I'm in awe, Ole. Just goes to prove you can do most things on a scooter, although I don't think I could have done it on my old C90.
