Thumbs Down Brake Pad Brand; What's the inside scoop?
19,000 miles and all 3 sets getting thin. Should I go drive to Honda dealer for potentially over-priced brand? Or is there a price point generic brand of same quality and material conveniently shipped to my mailbox?
Thanks in advance

Well you can get oem shipped to your mailbox too.

I Like oem pads. They brake well, last well.

There are pads that are more aggressive but they might not last as long or wear down the rotors quicker.

Also are you an easy braker or more aggressive braker. Tha factors into pad choice as well

You'll get a lot of opinions on this. Me? I use OEM stuff and don't worry about it. Ferret is correct -- you can order online and have it shipped to your door.

If you've been happy with the OEM pads, then it's a good idea to stick with them. They're top quality pads engineered for our bikes.

If you're looking for something different in a pad, whether to save money or change feel, you'll want to be clear on your objectives and any trade offs you're willing to accept. There are options out there, but none that are no-brainer improvements over the stock pads.

I went to EBC HH sintered pads, but only because I need to keep up with my sport bike friends and do the occasional track day, both of which are hard on brakes. Good feel and stand up to abuse, but same is true of factory pads.

Good news is pads are easy to change on our bikes.

736, do a search for Ulvetanna and brake pads. He's recently changed his and is happy with what he did.
